Here’s a nice way to sweeten up somebody’s holiday season. To kick things off, the plush snowman has a stomach full of homemade creamy caramels. Then there are so many things in the basket, I’ll throw it into a nice little list for my wonderful readers:
- 2 Milk Chocolate Toffee Walnut Petite Apples
- 3 Triple Chocolate Petite Apples
- 4-Piece Caramel Truffle Sampler
- 2 Milk Chocolate Pecan Regals
- 4-Piece Holiday Pretzel Rod Gift
- 8 ounces of Peppermint Bark
When it’s all said and done, the whole thing weighs in at just under 7 pounds! I’ve never heard of Peppermint Bark before, but it sounds pretty awesome.

I live in the desert, so I wouldn’t have much need for this, but it seems to be a nice little idea. And if nothing else, it’s a gift idea that I figure would have girls say something to the effect of “Oh, how cute!”
They’re small cell phone bags in different color choices. The cool part is that the pouch is made of neoprene. That’s the stuff that is used to make wet suits. That means that if the phone makes it into the pouch before it hits the rain, no water will come in contact with the phone.
Of course, it also serves as a cute little accessory for a purse. The strap is leather (I figure it’s been waterproofed), and has a snap on one end so it can be attached to a loop on a purse or whatever, even a belt loop I suppose. At the time of this posting, they are ridiculously inexpensive too, at $6 a pop, not too shabby.

This little clock is totally awesome. You know those pin frame things? I really don’t know what they’re called, but they have lots of little pins that will stay in place if the thing stands on its side. You start by putting your hand in it, then, as the imagination grows, it turns into finding inanimate objects around the room to push the pins onto, then it always ends up with a face being pressed on the pins. Yeah, that!
Well, this clock is one of those, except instead of hands, objects, and faces, the pins move to show what the current time is, hence the name Pin Clock.
With each passing minute, different pins will rearrange to show the new time. When that happens, you can hear the pins move, nothing loud, just a soothing little shuffle. It’s a pretty neat little desk clock, and of course, a great gift idea!
Keep the time with metal pins here.
Check (pun intended) this cake out! This thing is great and I have no idea how in the world they do it. I mean, the cakes I’ve made start as batter which is liquidy and tough to keep separated from other colored batters. Crazy.
It’s a checkered chocolate and vanilla cake. The thing looks delicious and of course, is shipped overnight so you get it fresh. That’s a seriously appetizing looking cake. The site says that if you want to change the top of the cake (which I don’t know why anyone would, other than to maybe surprise the cake-cutter with the checkers), you can get it inscribed with something of your choice free of charge. Of course, then the checkers are gone so the inscribe words are legible.
Anyway, this thing is pretty sweet (another pun!) looking, so give it to somebody ay?

So some of the sites I’ve posted about are having pretty big holiday sales. It being Thanksgiving and all, Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year, so why go out into the crowds when you can just get stuff in the comfort of your own home?
Amazon has an entire portion of their site devoted to Black Friday here:
Black Friday Sale at Amazon
I’ve also added some sale banners on the Sales page.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone and happy holiday shopping!
I should really be blogging more about these personalized gifts you can get at Personalization Mall. The things I’ve got from there have made the most perfect gifts. You can make them emotional and make the recipient think that you went to all kinds of work to put just the right message directly to them on it, when really, it’s very simple to do.
This particular gift idea is in the form of a heart-shaped glass Christmas tree ornament. There are 3 lines of text that can be personalized for anybody you choose, and with any occasion you wish to commemorate. It’s a high-quality ornament. You can choose from 6 styles of text and put any personalization you wish on it. The words are laser engraved and the whole thing comes in a velvet pouch with a drawstring, so it will stay protected for years and years to come.
This is a classy, yet inexpensive, way to show that you want somebody to remember a special Christmas for years to come.

Well Christmas is sneaking up on us. Know any anxious children who can’t wait to see what Santa will bring them? How about having a personalized letter from Santa Claus show up for them directly from the North Pole?
I never got a letter from Santa as a kid, I think he was more focused on delivering the presents back then. Now it looks like he’s got time to sit down and compose a letter directly to a child you know, pretty sweet huh?
The letters come on styling Christmas letterhead and, as I said before, are personalized. I’d love to see the look on some kids’ faces when they see this show up.

So this OHbaby! Toys and Gifts website has all kinds of plush dolls or stuffed animals, whatever you’d prefer to call them. Most of them are cute little ducks and bears and stuff like that. So naturally, I found one of the few weird freakish dolls they have on there.
This particular doll is Peaco. Apparently Peaco is shy on the outside, but a wild man on the inside. I love the description on the product page, it talks all about how Peaco loves to dance in the water and what not.
Apparently this won some awards too for being a pretty awesome toy. Wild stuff.
Dance with the 3-eyed Peaco here.
This thing is totally sweet! The holidays are right around the corner, and it’s time to load on the sugar. College bowl games, late NFL season action, all kinds of good stuff to kick around the tube eating salt and drinking sugar.
This Coca-Cola can shaped glass will give anybody the comfort of drinking out of something that looks like a can, but with the experience of dealing with a glass. I’m curious as if this would mess with the brain’s memorized reaction to drinking out of a can. Ya know, pull it up to your mouth, then drink as if there’s only a little opening to drink from then boom, Coke all over your shirt.
Who knows, all I do know is that these things are pretty neato. Each glass is just a few bucks and is 12 oz. large, just the right size.
Turn that Coke can to glass here.
TinyPrints.com has just under 100 unique styles of personalized photo Christmas Cards available. The particular one pictured there is called December Tea.
I think it’s a great way to add some style to the pile of cheesy Christmas cards that are sure to show up in many mailboxes across the country. There are a good many different styles and color schemes. There are also a whole bunch of Happy Holidays cards to pick from.
That reminds me of another random tangent story. A good friend back home and his fellow associates came up with the most unoffensive holiday season greeting to use: “Peaceful Solstice!” I don’t believe there is any chance that a person could be offended by hearing someone say “Peaceful Solstice,” so feel free to use it!
