Being one of the weirdest things I’ve posted on this blog, I feel it appropriate to include a little video demonstration of said weirdness. Here’s a little clip of this Virtual Finger Game I found on YouTube.

The clip starts out with a tiny stick man being terrorized by the huge finger. Then at the push of a real button on the housing of the box, a menu appears. That menu, apparently, cycles through the characters with the touch of a digital button. The finger goes on to play with a blob and then an adorable panda who is clinging onto a tire swing. Just precious. Bonus: The song is mesmerizing.

Now that dream of flying pigs is a reality! This trio of flying animals will not only fly into a desk 6 cubicles away, but make plenty of noise on the trip. As the image so colorfully displays, each animal makes a different sound of glee whilst soaring through the air.

The way it works is simple. The arms (or chicken’s neck) have elastic bands in them and a little place to put your fingers as anchors. Pull the animal back and let her rip!

This particular doll is Peaco. Apparently Peaco is shy on the outside, but a wild man on the inside. I love the description on the product page, it talks all about how Peaco loves to dance in the water and what not.

It’s a prepaid Visa, not really a credit card, more like a debit card without having a bank account. Or maybe it could be considered a gift card for anywhere that accepts Visa. I think it’s a pretty good idea. I’m not sure of the details, but I imagine it would be safer for kids to have than carrying cash. When used wisely, it could also be used to teach kids how to manage their money at an early age.

Speaking of money management, this brings back a memory of when my Grandpa would take us to the Plaid Pantry (a mini-mart down the street) when we would visit him. He’s give us one dollar and let us spend nothing more. He was teaching us how to live within our means I suppose. I remember I was still bummed about not being able to spend the little extra I had in my pocket. I’m still not rich from that, but I must have learned a lesson from it…right?

Remote control vehicles are always fun, and usually creepy isn’t a good word to describe them. But now there’s a big old remote control arachnid. The thing is 6.5″ in diameter, 2″ tall, and weighs a full pound! My sister does this thing where she crawls her hand on you and says “Heavy bug.” If you are in the right state of mind when she does it, it’s pretty wrong feeling. This heavy bug is close enough to the real deal to really scare the snot out of somebody.

Of course, that’s the sole purpose I see this serving, is completely scaring people out of their minds. Put it on sleeping bags, bed sheets, really anywhere on people when they’re in a vulnerable position for the most fun!

Office habitants can protect their cubicle with this marshmallow blaster. Or maybe when it’s time for hot chocolate around the campfire, the wielder of the gun can bring white fluffy joy to the mugs of chocolaty goodness! I think I’d see how far away me and a friend could be and still catch the fired marshmallows with our mouths. Always a worthy challenge.
