Valentine Snack Gift Pack

Valentine Snack Gift PackNuts, crackers, cheese, and meat. What else do you need in any gift basket? Well, how about a stainless steel cleaver? Now it’s a perfect Valentine’s Day gift!

This is the first gift basket I’ve seen that includes any type of cutting utensil, and they don’t mess around, they include a nice meat cleaver, which is awesome. It’s pretty inexpensive too, so there really isn’t any reason why everybody shouldn’t have their own meat cleaver and heart shaped block of cheddar cheese. The other things in there are whole cashews, garlic herb crackers, and beef sausage. Good stuff.

Cut your way into your Valentine’s heart here.

Reversible Valentine’s Day Table Linen Set

Reversible Valentine's Day Table Linen SetGet festive with some Valentine’s Day placemats and napkins! As you can see, the placemats are reversible, one side being red and white and the other black and white.

There are 4 placemats and napkins, all made of cotton, and there’s a runner too! Jolly good fun. This would be more of a non-romantic Valentine’s Day gift idea I suppose. I wouldn’t count on getting much extra loving from giving this to that special someone as a gift. But give it to someone you don’t want to become affectionate with, and boom bam, it’s the perfect gift!

Petal Poetry

Petal PoetryI like this flower arrangement for Valentine’s Day. There are no leaves to mess with, only the business part of the roses are showing. The vase is a clean and simple red glass cube. It’s elegant and of good style. Well played.

Photo Valentine’s Day Cards

Photo Valentine's Day CardsHere are some more Valentine’s Day cards. This particular one is pink with just a hint of chocolate brown in the border for a nice change. Obviously, you can put your own picture in there of you or your family, or really anything you want.

Here’s an idea for ya. Get a picture of some guys who are roommates in college, order some cards with their pictures on them and then send those cards to people they know! That would be a swell prank.

Caramel Snowman Holiday Gift Basket

Caramel Snowman Holiday Gift BasketHere’s a nice way to sweeten up somebody’s holiday season. To kick things off, the plush snowman has a stomach full of homemade creamy caramels. Then there are so many things in the basket, I’ll throw it into a nice little list for my wonderful readers:

  • 2 Milk Chocolate Toffee Walnut Petite Apples
  • 3 Triple Chocolate Petite Apples
  • 4-Piece Caramel Truffle Sampler
  • 2 Milk Chocolate Pecan Regals
  • 4-Piece Holiday Pretzel Rod Gift
  • 8 ounces of Peppermint Bark

When it’s all said and done, the whole thing weighs in at just under 7 pounds! I’ve never heard of Peppermint Bark before, but it sounds pretty awesome.

Thanksgiving Day Sales

So some of the sites I’ve posted about are having pretty big holiday sales. It being Thanksgiving and all, Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year, so why go out into the crowds when you can just get stuff in the comfort of your own home?

Amazon has an entire portion of their site devoted to Black Friday here:

I’ve also added some sale banners on the Sales page.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and happy holiday shopping!

Personalized Heart Glass Ornament

Personalized Heart Glass OrnamentI should really be blogging more about these personalized gifts you can get at Personalization Mall. The things I’ve got from there have made the most perfect gifts. You can make them emotional and make the recipient think that you went to all kinds of work to put just the right message directly to them on it, when really, it’s very simple to do.

This particular gift idea is in the form of a heart-shaped glass Christmas tree ornament. There are 3 lines of text that can be personalized for anybody you choose, and with any occasion you wish to commemorate. It’s a high-quality ornament. You can choose from 6 styles of text and put any personalization you wish on it. The words are laser engraved and the whole thing comes in a velvet pouch with a drawstring, so it will stay protected for years and years to come.

This is a classy, yet inexpensive, way to show that you want somebody to remember a special Christmas for years to come.

A Letter from Santa

A Letter from SantaWell Christmas is sneaking up on us. Know any anxious children who can’t wait to see what Santa will bring them? How about having a personalized letter from Santa Claus show up for them directly from the North Pole?

I never got a letter from Santa as a kid, I think he was more focused on delivering the presents back then. Now it looks like he’s got time to sit down and compose a letter directly to a child you know, pretty sweet huh?

The letters come on styling Christmas letterhead and, as I said before, are personalized. I’d love to see the look on some kids’ faces when they see this show up.

Christmas Photo Cards at TinyPrints.com

Christmas Photo CardsTinyPrints.com has just under 100 unique styles of personalized photo Christmas Cards available. The particular one pictured there is called December Tea.

I think it’s a great way to add some style to the pile of cheesy Christmas cards that are sure to show up in many mailboxes across the country. There are a good many different styles and color schemes. There are also a whole bunch of Happy Holidays cards to pick from.

That reminds me of another random tangent story. A good friend back home and his fellow associates came up with the most unoffensive holiday season greeting to use: “Peaceful Solstice!” I don’t believe there is any chance that a person could be offended by hearing someone say “Peaceful Solstice,” so feel free to use it!

Mr. Christmas World’s Fair Carousel

Mr. Christmas World's Fair CarouselRound and round and round the gift ideas go, where they stop nobody knows. Carousels are always happy times; even small ones like this.

I did a little bit (and I do mean a little bit) of research to try to find out why it’s called a World’s Fair Carousel. All I could find is that the 1964-65 World’s Fair had a good amount of carousels. Also fun to note is that this is most likely a US carousel, as it spins (and yes, it does spin) in a counter-clockwise direction. Apparently the UK carousels go the other way. Neat, huh?

So anyway, this is 8ΒΌ” in diameter, has 170 lights, and plays 15 Christmas carols and 15 all-time classics. It’s a cute little decoration for any home around the holidays.
