Plan on going traditional for Valentine’s Day this year? The good old fashioned bundle of a dozen roses never fails…I think. I’m single, so what do I know?
Woo your lady (or maybe your man, I don’t know) with a nice and full bunch of roses. I’m not too sure what else to say about roses really, but this feels like a short post. Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m typing some gibberish for my readers like you!

Valentine’s Day is coming up quickly, again. You know what that means; flowers and chocolates!
So today I bring you chocolate, and I’m not messing around this time. ZChocolat has quite possibly the World’s best chocolates, as far as I can tell. I was just clicking around their site and it’s seriously impressive stuff. See the little assortment in the drawer in the picture there? I thought that the brown and white things were little boxes that the chocolate came in, but no, that is the chocolate! Each one is individually numbered with a real nice font.
Since I can’t come anywhere close to typing something as magical as they have, here’s what ZChocolat has to say about this 30 piece Mahogany set:
Chocolate Reflections. A very wise man once mused Fortunate is the chocolate thus roaming the world through women’s smiles finds its death over a flavorful and melting kiss in their mouths. This quote by Anthelme Brillat-Savarin comes to life in a most sumptuous way as the 30 chocolates in this selection are unveiled. Two drawers open to reveal a magnificent display of handmade chocolates held in a beautiful mahogany box that is adorned with the French version of Monsieur Savarin’s words. An evening of chocolate and poetry has never been so inviting.
See? So if you have the funds (I know I don’t) and want to show your true love how much she means to you, and if she loves chocolate, then do it the right way!
Even if you don’t plan on buying any, go check out the site here. It’s crazy impressive for a chocolate site.
I just got an email from PersonalizationMall.com saying there is still time to order things for Valentine’s Day. I imagine there are a lot of people out there like me who put off shopping for gifts til the last minute. So this is a great chance to get something on short notice and make it look like you put a lot of work into it!
This is a photo cube that you can put a few photos into and have the first name of you and your love engraved into the O. Ordering last minute means you’ll want to spend a bit more to get it shipped next day or two day air, but getting it there in time for Valentine’s Day will make that well worth it in the end.

Tired of the same old little Valentine’s Day chalky hearts? Well these are the same antacid type of treat, but they have much different messages on them than the usual.
The three tins to choose from are Dejected, Dysfunctional, and Dumped. This picture gives a little peek at what to expect from these. Clicking through will give you the entire list of every inscription on these hearts. Have some fun giving out downer hearts this year!
Valentine’s downers here.
This is pretty cool. ThinkGeek has a pair of t-shirts that will light up with hearts when you are near your loved one. So here’s what you do. Get two of these shirts, one for you and one for your significant other, and then when you’re apart, you’ll each have only 2½ hearts lit up, but when you’re near each other, all 6 hearts will light up. Pretty neat huh?
See the idea is, if you haven’t got it, to make it seem as though each of the t-shirt wearers are in a video game. In games, like Zelda, you want your hearts to be full, that means you’re strong and have perfect health. When they start to diminish, things aren’t looking so hot. So when you’re with your lover, things are looking good.
Of course, there are some things to do to get it set up right, like plug in a little transmitter that detects when the other person is nearby, but it’s totally worth it! You could both wear these shirts to a Valentine’s Day party or any other social event where you want to woo people with your love for each other. Could be a good time for everybody!

I put another Personalized Heart Glass Ornament thing up here for the Christmas season. Now it’s time for the Valentine’s Day version. This one is more classy indeed.
It’s about 5 inches tall and wide, and I love the style on the edges. They look like they are wet, but that’s just the snazzy design. Like the other personalized gift ideas on this blog, you can add your own message to it for that special someone. It’s a gift that will be seen every day by the recipient, so make sure you really like the person!

Nuts, crackers, cheese, and meat. What else do you need in any gift basket? Well, how about a stainless steel cleaver? Now it’s a perfect Valentine’s Day gift!
This is the first gift basket I’ve seen that includes any type of cutting utensil, and they don’t mess around, they include a nice meat cleaver, which is awesome. It’s pretty inexpensive too, so there really isn’t any reason why everybody shouldn’t have their own meat cleaver and heart shaped block of cheddar cheese. The other things in there are whole cashews, garlic herb crackers, and beef sausage. Good stuff.
Cut your way into your Valentine’s heart here.
Get festive with some Valentine’s Day placemats and napkins! As you can see, the placemats are reversible, one side being red and white and the other black and white.
There are 4 placemats and napkins, all made of cotton, and there’s a runner too! Jolly good fun. This would be more of a non-romantic Valentine’s Day gift idea I suppose. I wouldn’t count on getting much extra loving from giving this to that special someone as a gift. But give it to someone you don’t want to become affectionate with, and boom bam, it’s the perfect gift!
