The pod has a motion detector that will close when it senses a bug (or finger I suppose) and snaps shut. It’s cupped so that the bug won’t be squished. That means you can check the little dude out before you do whatever else it is you’d like to do with the prisoner.
At first I thought this was just a little toy, but it’s pretty good sized. It weighs a full pound and is 9 inches tall. This is a pretty serious bug catcher, and it’s pretty cheap too!
